Deftones are back with their first new studio album in nearly five years. Titled Private Music, the highly anticipated record is set for release on August 22 via Reprise Records. Leading the charge is the atmospheric new single “My Mind Is a Mountain”, which is out now—listen below.
Private Music marks the band’s 10th studio album and follows 2020’s Ohms. It was co-produced by Deftones and longtime collaborator Nick Raskulinecz, who previously worked with the band on Diamond Eyes (2010) and Koi No Yokan (2012). The album was recorded between sessions in California and Nashville.
