The Kind Hills are proof that distance is no match for connection. Born from friendship and a shared love of music, the band first came together years ago as students in Perth, bonding over nights spent at sweaty local gigs, bottle shop runs, and backyard parties that stretched well into the Western Australian night. Icons like Custard, Regurgitator, Sodastream, Mach Pelican, and Eskimo Joe left a deep impression on their early sound — playful, melodic, and always a little bit mischievous.

Now spread across four continents, The Kind Hills operate as a global collaboration. Martin (Brisbane) and Roman (Lucerne) take the lead on writing and production, while Brett (Perth), Jess (London), Bea (Los Angeles), and Chase (Hong Kong) lend their voices and creative spark. Swapping stems and ideas across time zones, they craft dreamy, unhurried indie-pop with a handmade feel — the kind of music that glows with understated charm.

Following the success of their 2023 debut Clusterluck, which picked up radio support in Australia, Switzerland, and the U.S., the band returned in 2024 with an ambitious plan: a new single every month. That year-long release cycle now culminates in their sophomore record, Feeling Blue With You, arriving June 30.

The album gathers those singles and ties them together with a new, heartfelt closer: “Don't Let the Darkness Steal Your Light.” It’s a collection that feels both carefully considered and effortlessly breezy — full of jangling guitars, soft synth beds, and warm vocal harmonies. Whether you're on a long drive or just lying on the floor letting your thoughts wander, Feeling Blue With You is the perfect companion
